On September 3rd, Ruth Boumphrey, CEO of Lloyd’s Register Foundation, and Claudene Sharp-Patel, CEO of Lloyd’s Register Group, met with 12 female students from the Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering to share their experiences and perspectives on careers and success as women engineers.

As two of the highest-ranking female leaders at Lloyd’s Register, Boumphrey and Sharp-Patel are deeply committed to supporting women in engineering. During their visit to Seoul National University, they took the opportunity to spend dedicated time with both undergraduate and graduate female students from the department.

They plan to continue holding such meetings whenever possible in the future, offering valuable advice and encouragement to help students build their careers in engineering.
